Q: It is possible to use a shared NeoFinder database folder on a file server, but also have my own private Catalogs on my own Mac?
A: Yes, that is possible, and here is how that works.
1. Open the NeoFinder Preferences and reset the Database Folder location back to the Default value, which is a folder on your local Mac startup disk.

2. Select LIBRARY in NeoFinder and use the "Reveal in Finder" menu or context menu command, so that you can see that database folder location in the macOS Finder.
3. Create an Alias of your shared NeoFinder database folder on your file server, and place that Alias file in your local NeoFinder database folder.

4. NeoFinder will now show you all your Catalogs in your private local database folder, as well at the shared catalogs on the file server. Those are all shown in the NeoFinder LIBRARY in a catalog folder with the same NeoFinder as the Alias file has.
Please note that this requires the NeoFinder Business License for sharing NeoFinder databases on a file server.
Can I have private and shared Catalogs?
